Fincas de Landaluce Crianza 2019 -91 points- $22. 95 per bottle- (12x 750ml)
Here's a ripe and stylish, deeply fruity tempranillo with plenty of blackberry and black raspberry fruit, also black cherry and subtle licorice flavours. Wood is a very minor component despite a full year in French and American oak, remaining focused on the fruit. Length and depth are very good to excellent in the category. Best now-2027 or so - this has solid stuffing to evolve.

About the Winery
Bodegas Landaluce is a quality-focused winery based in Laguardia, at the heart of Rioja Alavesa. With a commitment to vineyard expression, sustainability, and low-intervention winemaking, the estate blends tradition and innovation to craft expressive wines with structure and finesse.
Region & Vineyards
Fruit is sourced from estate-owned vineyards in Laguardia, including parcels in San Cristobal, La Media Legua, Prado de las Albas and La Laguna. ( 20-50 years old) Planted at high elevation in clay-limestone soils, these sites benefit from the cooling influence of the Cantabrian Mountains, helping maintain freshness and aromatic complexity in the grapes.
